I go in the kitchen for 5 mins…and look wtf happens…smarten up boys…and fight…
Maybe we’re just trying to make the title race exciting again?
Nunez so often takes a step or two forward, then immediately backward. After his performance versus PSG, I can absolutely see why he got this opportunity, and he can be forgiven for struggling to make his presence felt in a match where the whole side is stuttering - but that mental error for the yellow all but forces Slot to take him off just to manage the risk.
Honestly, unemotionally, we need to to sell Nunez and find someone with a better head. I have seen him now over years make unintelligent decisions and crucially, have a very low conversion rate. It’s true, he runs and has great pace and can create chances for movement for others. But I refuse to believe that he is the best man available on the market for this role. He is the main player I would like to sell (really, long ago, but I seldom talk down players, but I have never ever been a fan of him, but I have given him time).
Indeed. Diaz ineffective, Nunez a liability, and Gravenberch knackered. The n again, I can’t say that Dom has asserted himself much either. Need to see a lot more effort in the secondf half.
I actually don’t have a problem with Virgil on their goal. He did successfully shield his guy from the ball. The issue was the second runner who came in from behind and clattered into Ali, knocking him over as he was trying to collect the ball. Kostas should have done better to block him off as well, but then also was in no man’s land on the eventual shot.
At least make Ramsdale work a little.
All this talk of parades and when is the earliest we can win it.
Fucking hate that talk.
I think Nunez’s frustrations stem from the fact that he could have been played in two or three times, but Trent, Gravenberch or whoever took the wrong option.
The trouble is that he should be able to deal with that and keep going, which is what elite level strikers are able to do. There was a time when he was actually good at doing that, but he’s letting his frustrations boil over because he needs a goal and is in a dry spell.
Slot’s fault. He should have listened to our suggestions of starting the likes of Endo, Elliot, Chiesa etc
When we play quick give and goes we do well throughout the pitch and it causes them problems and we then get into good positions, just need do it more often.
Grav has been both excellent and poor in that his movement with the ball has been top notch then follows it with a poor pass.
I have some valium left…sharing is caring…
Fans can dream. We aren’t the players on the pitch.
United are winning tomorrow against Arsenal.
We look knackered in midfield today, maybe Endo on to put his foot on the ball.
I don’t think Slot can go near the dressing room while under suspension.
Yes he can
I agree but will Arne have the balls to do it
What if he puts on a wig and Groucho glasses?
Grav already looks overplayed, I really don’t think it makes much sense to play him in the 2nd half.
