As terrible as Hodgson was, you cannot blame him for the Joe Cole transfer. That was a Purslow decision that was in process before Hodgson was hired.

I’m chilled here as it feels inevitable. But we still have to do it. And so far Jones is grating me a bit, as he is lingering on it and taking an extra touch, almost as if it’s only Southampton, but he needs a bit more zip about him.
