City have failed to win 24% of their games this season… adjust that yourselves between need to win, rested, focused, and choking…
It way lower a chance than we’d all like, but it’s not nothing.

Yip, the odd are much more favourable than we are actually thinking.
City have taken max points at home, 77% of the games. Lost 2, Drawn 2.
Villa away record away, they have taken point off teams 44% of the time.
According to accurate stats, it’s 80% to 20% if we take into account what has to happen in both games.
14hrs and 6 minutes to go folks.
The final league matchday of the season for me is always bittersweet. Sad to see the league end but also nice that the boys and The Boss will get some rest. What they’ve achieved this season, the mental focus and physical fortitude, is unbelievable. Most impressive, the squad solidarity.
Every season has its own personality, it’s triumphs, and it’s own memories. We will obvs see the boys next weekend for Champions League final but again its with a touch of emotion to not see this special group take the pitch each week. They’ve taken us all on a special journey.
As The Boss said last week, these are all moments we are living in, we must remember to enjoy this. The squad will look different next year.
Urgh, 12 hrs 19 mins, this place is like waiting for a pot of water to boil.
If only I had learnt how to wank 12hrs away.
Why don’t you ask @PeachesEnRegalia
I though it would be weird to ask directly, so thanks for the assist.
I’ll be a great wingman haha
Wasn’t aware we won it 100 years ago this year for the third time.
Villa have only won twice at Man City in the last 21 years (no draws) one of them did come in our cup treble season mind
And so dawns the day
Is that footage of your mate Elon giving you a lift to work?
Try prison??
Are we having this countdown…all morning…
I know this is off on a tangent…but I’m so glad this last game is at home…makes it more special…
And so, on to the final game of the league season. Very similar situation we find ourselves in as in the 2018-19 season.
That time, we won the final game 2-0 against Wolves with a brace from Mane (scored in 17’ and 81’). But $hitty also won away at Brighton.
They actually went behind on 27’ but then Aguero equalized right away. $hitty then took the lead on 38’ so we were only ahead on the live league table for a few minutes. If only Brighton had not let in that equalizer immediately, and let $hitty sweat for a bit, things may have turned out different.
Onto today. Deja vu as we play Wolves again at Anfield. First order of the day is to concentrate and win our match, and then whatever happens, happens. $hitty are at home as well, a change from last time; however, Aston Villa should hopefully provide more difficulty than Brighton three years ago.
Only 6 hours now, will I manage to be a wake for it?
Yes, and the Origi factor adds a certain poignancy.
I just wish it was in our hands.
I’m cooking, a great big casserole that’s taking ages to boil, then I add the chickpeas and cook them for hours in the cauldron. Helps pass the time, some chopping of vegies as well.
