PreMatch | Liverpool vs Wolves | PL Matchday 25 | Sunday February 16th 14:00h

Poor second half. We were holding on for our lives against bottom half wolves. Nunez done nothing coming on. We missed Gapko and Jones today.

The failure of being 7 points clear and finishing top of the CL first stage

I may be in the minority but i still think we are one of the best teams to watch. Our counter-attacks, swift attacks etc are exciting to watch. As for today being flat it has to be expected after Everton. I never expected an all energy attacking display today and as someone else pointed out above we missed Gakpo and Jones for energy.

I honestly expect us to run Villa into the ground on Wednesday and probably be knackered against City but as long as we get 3 points from those 2 games i’ll be happy. Anything extra is a bonus

On that Quansah challenge to stop them scoring, look at Robbo’s position 5 yards deeper than the other defenders, 5 may be an exaggeration, but others are at it so I thought I would join in xxx

More for the cause? He works his socks off. I don’t think you can accuse him of not trying. Jota was on for the bulk of today and couldn’t score. Nunez was on for a fraction of the period and offered about the same amount tbh.

So are the points while the number of opportunities are shrinking for Arsenal to close an increasingly daunting gap.

Today was always going to be a potential banana skin. Coming in off the back of a draining game and result in midweek against a side far better than their results have suggested ( (C) @Sweeting ) who made two attacking subs at half time and made a real go of it, bolstered by the emotional lift of VAR giving them an unexpected lifeline twice.

The performance wasnt good enough for some of the games we have coming up, but I think this was always going to be a day about coming in, getting the points, and moving on

Whats the definition of a proper performance?

Crowd control is not Jones’ job at all. His job is to help screen the midfield, support the AM, give assists and score goals.

Don’t you think so?

Isak, but on the other hand Cunha as he stays fit, if both are injury free, Isak

He works hard in most games. Didn’t today. Offered nothing when we really needed a spark. Agree that Jota was poor but still a far greater thread than Darwin

Really? Thought he worked hard in attack and defence.

They came off a whole week’s rest!

We came off the Merseyside derby away!!

We have two bona fide starters out (injury suspension).

We did damn well to get three points. Job done

Nunez had numerous attempts to hold the ball up and it just bounces off him comes straight back.

10 nil, 100% possession, all in the opponents penalty area

He would get us a fortune as Saudi are in for him. Might get us 100 million as he seems to be interested as well.

A fixture crunch is coming in and I fear that 7 points lead will be whittled down to something that can be overtaken…

You’re just showing how completely clueless you are about the situation. Believe what you will.
