Basically Number 10 was having an operations meeting at 9pm tonight, I assume this is going be about logistics but it seems the PL will talk to Number 10 and take it from there.
Which suggests why a announcement will be made in the morning.

When you’re used to sky with Amazon, Youtube, Dis+, Netflix etc, not having it is like having an arm sliced off. And possibly the perfect definition of a first world problem

Has this game been postponed? Is there are official announcement? If it’s been postponed, can we have the Ajax thread?
There will be some sort of announcement today. I think it’s safe to say that this and probably the Chelsea match are off.
I’m wondering whether there will be enquiries to switch the Ajax game to Amsterdam as well.
Catastrophe if they cancel both games. Two more games to be played after the World Cup.
Maybe moving the Chelsea game to Saturday would be an option.

Everyone in PL would be disadvantaged - however, we have fewer World Cup players.

I may have misread this but they seem to be saying that sporting events can go ahead. Looks like they are leaving it to individual authorities to make the call…
I suspect that the Chelsea game will still be rescheduled.
The PA news agency understands that sports were advised by the Government in a meeting on Friday morning that events can take place this weekend provided they are staged in a commemorative and respectful manner.
Julian Knight, the chair of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee, told PA: "This seems to be a sensible approach - that it’s going to be up to individual sports how they mark the passing of our remarkable Queen.
"Whether that is silences, the wearing of black armbands or the singing of the National Anthem, or whether there will be those who wish at this time that perhaps they won’t be having an event at all - it’s completely up to the individual sports.
