Who is protecting Trent? Another 3 points please.
When Robbo was playing too much he lost a little bit of form, and then when Tsimikas came in he looked fresh and we probably overestimated the Greek Scouser, and complimented him by saying he was just about as good as Robbo.
That opinion was sharply revised when a fresh Robbo played against Man City. He was really good, and his running, tackling, offering an outlet on the left and so on, were a class above. No offense to Tsimikas, as he is an able deputy.
So with all that said, why is Robbo out again? I thought he had a rest and now looked all the better for it?
Is there a minor injury I don’t know about?
Anyone obvious and not injured missing?
Good to see whatever kept Jones out wasn’t serious, Klopp is messing with us.
I was fine with defeat (as long as we were not humiliated by City), but here against West Ham and Forest I demand a victory and truly expect it.
If we don’t win this one, then the heroic effort against City will mean nothing, except maybe a tiny helping hand for Arsenal. But we don’t play for Arsenal, we play for Top four, for the highest placement we can get !
So a MUST WIN ! Nothing else is remotely good enough.
Salah central please
First and foremost, I hope for the three points.
Beyond that, some solidity would be nice too. We restricted Man City to a couple of sniffs and that was about it. Something like that again would be lovely.
Then I am also hoping for some sort of understanding and chemistry to start to emerge between Salah and Nunez, as if they can get something going, it will help us for the season ahead.
Nunez either gets a brace, or gets sent off tonight. Or both
Hope so, it’s not obvious how that’ll be though with the lineup
We really could do with him staying none suspended for the period leading up to the World Cup to be honest.
Klopp and Moyes having a heart to heart
Good strong line up.
Nice to see Paqueta sitting this one out for them.
I really hope it’s not Salah out wide right, if we resort back to the weird formation of earlier season now we’ve got Hendo, Trent and Mo back its two steps backwards…
I think in attack/possession we will look somewhat like
The Fight Back began against Manchester City; now let us see if it succeeds or not. If we revert to the previous games before City, it will be a crushing disappointment.
This time, I choose to believe. Pretty sure we will eat roasted ham and chop down forests.
I take it…JK is allowed on pitch side…till his fate is sealed.
Bye till final whistle.
See u guys at HT
Ally McCoist in da house!
No more of that please Ali.
