It would good for this team if this attitude that every goal we concede is somehow directly our fault and our deficiency, and nothing to do with the opposition, didn’t pervade the team.

Commentary is abyssal… The commentary team we have here were praising City non stop. Liverpool blocked a shot… They said that City player took the shot too slowly. Rinse and repeat.
About the match, we had a good work for 10-15 minutes at the beginning, then we are back to routinely lack of ideas and movement. 
Not as miserable as Slot is as a coach.
Maybe Klopp can come back to build him another squad which wins the title on autopilot.

Started well. Created a couple of good chances. Restricted Shitty as well.
Guilty of trying to score the perfect goal at times.
Sometimes just need to put your foot through the ball. A deflection in your favour may lead to a goal or corner
Then the pen. Heads down. Shitty took control. A few seconds before HT and they carve out a good goal. We really needed to be switched on to take a one goal deficit.
Need a goal early in the second. With the Wednesday game as well, I suspect that there will be preplanned subs at 60 mins.

That second goal is pretty representative of our problems this season. Kirkez with two men and backed by Wirtz and Virgil both of whom in positions they don’t want to be in so neither does remotely enough to do anything and so a dangerous ball comes into the box way too easily
