It’s pathetic. They made a good number of changes from the midweek, but that’s the point of having an expensive squad. Regardless of how many changes, 8 of these players would expect to play in a CL final. Of the other 3, one is an injury forced change bringing in a semi-regular player…fucking deal with it. Another is one of the most expensive CBs of all time, someone more expensive than about 3 of our players. That leaves only Steffan as a selection remotely in line with the sort of narrative they are spinning.

Lol that’s a big part of our gameplay, to open up spaces and keep the ball longer. Better than punting it and hoping for the best.
