Right now he’s very one note - wants the ball to feet, wants to get the defender into a standing start that try to beat him. It isn’t working today and it’s creating a bit of a void on that side. For all the criticism of Cody, the bigger issue today is on that side

We might need Macca/Nyoni early in the second half as both Szobo and Gravenberch are fucking shit in progressing the ball into dangerous areas…
At least more commitment for runners getting back to defend the counter there

I think to call this team a work in progress is an understatement. Far too many times we have balls misplaced because they don’t know where their teammates are or where the ball will be placed.
Oddly enough, Virgil and Jacquet seem to have a reasonable rapport.
