And Wharton isnt that similar to Jones. Plus Wirtz needs a player like Wharton behind him, or thrives.

Wharton is about as mobile as oil tanker.
A shit version of Rice/Henderson, only with better shooting and free kicks.

I actually would say he´s a bit more of a fancy looking Henderson but with worse passing and without the leadership qualities and spirit.

People should now really appreciate how great our midfield trio of Hendo, Gini and Fabinho were. Yea they have none of the flair that Dom and Wirtz have but they gave us everything while the flair of these 2 gave us shite

This is pretty true though! His all round play is pretty bad…He is only good at long shots and set-pieces and his work-rate.
Today, all 3 are missing…
He’s come on to play in behind isak. Earlier in Pre season he said Dom was one of the options there is Wirtz isn’t playing, which means Trey coming on and Dom moving forward was an option available but ignored for this one
We all would…but alas I think thats not happening
We have just handicapped the new manager but pursuing a 100 million winger all summer. Whereas, the focus should have been midfield reinforcements and a proper backup for Isak.
