We´d be better but still not good enough with those three though.
That three worked because it had the best front 3 in the world and the best creative full backs in the world. It was quite deficient on the ball, which is why he went for Keita and Thiago.

Same. Squad planning has been abject and the eay he has done our business this Summer has been abject and bordering on negligent. The window is also winding down with the very real possibility he has fannied about too long and we end up with a 70 million pound panic buy that can’t play until October.
We need better full backs, we need a powerful midfielder, we need a right winger and we have needed a centreback. Been plain to see for all, apart from Hughes.

Because that is the number 10 position. You´re not in the main midfield so you need somebody to be feeding you the ball. You can´t go back and get it.
You could say the same of Haaland though in another position.
If you played him with midfielders like Dom and attackers like Gakpo who just shoot constantly, would he be as good?
You’d need to fire the manager if that’s how you want our midfield to play

Szoboszlai has been really poor.
People used to criticize Gerrard’s tactical discipline but my goodness Szobo makes him look like prime Busquets.
