Seen some bad performances this season but today’s puts the top hat on it. Everyone of them has been poor but Curtis and Macca have been beyond. They have passed the ball more to Forest than they have to their own men. Need to get Joe on in place of Curtis and any one in place of Macca.
Shame we have no midfield options on the bench because the three of them absolutely stunk the place out. Not only a lack of quality but unforgivably a lack of effort.
Absolutely zero quality going forward without Wirtz.

Completely disjointed. The safety first approach does us no favours at all. The mini break has seen us come back playing with clown shoes. Need to get back to basics with actually trying to pass the ball around.
Goal kick. Konate, Alison, VVD and (initially) Dom all a the back. One pass, booted up field to lose the ball. As we are deep., the ball comes back. Need to be more brave and pass it around quicker.
Lucky we’re playing Forest, who don’t look like scoring at all. Only our defence and keeper comes out with credit in the first half.

Forest will tire in the latter stages of the second half, then we will probably compete better, win the second ball, and hopefully score enough to win the 3points (because we desperately need them).
This first half though…!!

If this how we play after 8 days rest,I’ll take playing 3 games in 8 days instead.
Konate is the only one playing it seems. Hopefully we wake up 2nd half.

My thoughts exactly. Bring in Gomez, move Szoboszlai further up to use his dynamism and replace Mo with Chiesa. Bring off MacAllister.
Some of this team needs moving on ASAP… If they ever had what it takes to play for LFC, then they certainly don’t possess it anymore… MacAllister… Gakpo… Grav… Curtis…

Yes but Forest are playing a low block and Arne hates those…….oh wait!
It only works if our squad had a proper conditioning regime in the mid-season…
It seems more likely that they will outrun us in the pitch…
