PreMatch | Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool | PL Matchday 13 | Saturday October 22nd 12:30h | City Ground

Clueless. And we are lucky it is Forest, who is equally clueless as us.

Carvalho been poor. But so has everyone

He started well but seems a bit intimidated after a few heavy challenges

Think Hendo will be on 2nd half instead of Curtis, there’s not many other changes that can affect this game

It’s not like you to point that out

Brutal game this

The forwards look lost

Other than Salah there is no attacking impetus, no threat, no pace, no creativity, no one really breaking their necks to make something happen. You don’t win games like that.

They all seem fairly content with knocking about like they’re at Kirkby.

We have numerous match winners out injured, as well as lots of experience not on the pitch that would help us get a grip.

Forest are playing better than most of their games so far too, more organized and committed, as they need to in order to get a foothold in the Prem.

Consequently the game is finely balanced. On paper it should have been an easy win, but if we are getting three points today, it will be very hard fought.

Need some creativity and they are weak on their left. Get Trent on

Curtis Jones hasn’t made an strong case for himself to be Thiago’s successor or Diaz/Jota’s back up.

Careful when giving them an earful Jürgen, can’t afford more injuries

Thiago’s already got an earful

We are playing 442 and Bobbys in our half.

Jones and Carvalho off for me if the bench allows. If not then just Jones. He cant pick out a red shirt and is making us even slower.

Like watching a training game. Everything is so slow.

Last thing you need when you want 3 points is 10 players behind Mo all playing it safe.

Not 1 of them wants to take a risk.

If we were ever to go to a 3 at the back, it would be today. Give Trent and Robbo/Tsimikas the freedom of the flank with that extra bit of cover behind them.

Need to exploit the wide areas more in the second half. Forest will tire, more opportunities will open up.

This is a game that Chamberlain could feasibly make a good impact in, hopefully he’s up to it.

That was kind of supposed to be the joke, but I blame myself

Forest are a Championship side. They’re playing a 4-5-1, with as many as six strung along the back line. It’s like watching an Italian side from the 1990s.
