Would have been nice to see Origi get a response from the Anfield crowd if this had been at home.
It will be interesting to see what sort of game Clark has. Some of the younger ones e.g. Bradley and Quansah, have made the step up and look the part when called on. They have every chance to be here for a long time.
Some of the other kids have done really well with the Carabao final and then the FA Cup game against Southampton. It will be interesting to see if any of them step up to be considered genuine long term options for the club.
Here’s hoping Clark does well today. Good luck to that lad, I hope he grabs his chance with both hands.

As for the game, the team we are able to put out has me feeling a bit nervous, but it has been that way for a couple of weeks and we have been passing each test that comes along. The good news is the bench looks stronger, and hopefully we will see a nice run out for Nunez and Szoboszlai.
Getting the three points is the main thing. If the performance level is good that will be a nice bonus. And no more injuries, obviously.
Prediction:
Forest 1 (Elanga, rapid bugger)
Liverpool 3 (Gomez, yes, Joe Gomez! Diaz to nab another, and then Nunez from the bench)

He has definitely got the name for a lot of songs!
Ideally he will see more action and put in a body of work before being serenaded too much by the fans. I’m probably a grumpy bugger for saying it, but giving them a song from the off runs the risk that they become regarded as more of a cult hero, burning brightly for five minutes but then not really being a consequential player.
I’m looking forward to seeing if Danns will be more than that. The dinked finish and the knack of finding space are good signs that he has something of substance. Good luck to that lad!
