Nice to see Mabaya back in the first team set up and I think this will be the first time Morrison and Kone-Doherty have been in there?

Looks like it may be the line up.

So it’s a league cup tie against minnows.

Nice :+1:t4:

Wow wasn’t expecting Slot to do that, but delighted that he has. Looking forward to the game more now. Few lads that will be wanting to impress

It’s so unusual to watch a Liverpool match and not really care about the result.
Probably the last time this season.
Hoping for a Chiesa masterclass.

Nah, league will be sewn up by late March. We can watch the run-in without giving a single shit what happens.

@Quicksand @Mascot what d’you reckon, lads?

I finally understand the contract plans. League sewn up by March and we can play the PSV team for rest of the season. Then take Mo, Virg and Trent away for a couple of months to sort the contracts before CL final :+1:

I would rotate a lot, but I fully expect Slot to rotate a little.

A point guarantees top spot. We’ve all but done our work in Europe, at least for now. It’s time to concentrate on the league - wins at Bournemouth and then Everton would extend our lead and dishearten anyone who is trying to challenge.

I would take 6 Premier League points and 1 CL point with a heavily rotated side.

Let’s see what happens…

Hopefully we do not close this CL round with zero point.

He’s already rotated the squad. Most of the big names are staying at home.

It’s a surprise that Slot has opted to go so rotated for the fixture, but ultimately I would think it’s a conversation between Slot, the sports science and the players to determine what gives us the best chance on Saturday.

I worry about the left behind lads getting out of rhythm, but I think that with so many left back at least they can get some meaningful training in.

Don’t worry, they’re not training today.
