Sounds like we can expect a lot of rotation and youngsters Nallo and Morris might both get games.
Kelleher
Gomez Quansah Nallo Morris
Morton Endo Macca
Elliot Nunez Chiesa
Something like that? Maybe a few more of the regulars doing a half each.

APOLOGISE!
Justice for @PeachesEnRegalia!
That justice for Peaches movement is dying a slow death
It is. It is a tournament that has long outlived its relevance. Even the organizers appreciate that hence them 30 years ago moving the final to the early spring as a gimmick to make people care about it in a way they didnt when it was too close to the end of the season with other more important things happening at that time.
In terms of the kids it is seemingly relevant that Nyoni, Nallo, Norris and Danns were all left out of the U21s game yesterday.
For a game in which weâre scratching for rotation options, weâve actually got more in midfield than we need given the idea that Mac will be played to keep him ticking over after having not played in 2 weeks. So I expect weâll see something like
Kelleher
Gomez, Nallo, Quansah, Norris
Endo
Mac, Morton/Nyoni
Elliot, Danns, Chiesa
Itâs origins was to get the most of their new fangled floodlight technology I believe.
Gonna apologise now @RedArmada???
Yeah. It has been a cup that has existed in lots of forms trying to find relevance. In itâs first year the second leg of the final wasnât played until the start of the following season. It took them about 10 years to make it enough of a showpiece to move the final to Wembley. But it still had a legitimacy issue until the best sides, Forest and then us, started winning it in the late 70s/early 80s. With the European ban it gained more prominence as it filled a hole in the calendar, but within a few years English clubs would be back in Europe, and the final was moved to March in acknowledgement that it could not compete with the other more important stuff happening at the end of the season when held on its traditional date. Within a couple of years Wenger would arrive to England and got heat for playing largely reserve sides in it and that is kind of what it has been ever since.
It has a special place with our fans because of our role in legitimizing it as a trophy and that it kept our honors board ticking over during our wilderness years. But it is a trophy that had a golden era of about 10 years around the 80s but outside of that has been at best a second class trophy and at times more of a novelty or distraction. If people like it then great, but youâre not a bad fan if you arent bothered about what happens or want us to concentrate on other things.
FUCKING APOLOGISE @RedArmada
It is, what it is. Third tier competition or not, itâs still worthwhile. If itâs as useless as some of you believe, the club should abstain and chuck our 10 trophies into the bin.
Or, play the kids and donât sweat about what happens.
I donât have an issue with that. Rotate as necessary until it starts getting serious.
What pisses me off is seeing fellow Liverpool fans denigrating a competition weâve won a record number of times.
Ah well, I thought the game was tonight
