I can’t stand Southampton. They’ve always been a horrible bogey team for us - or maybe it just feels like that.

I want to see a ruthless display. No post-international fatigue; high tempo, high press, lots of chances.

I think it is more feels, I had a look and results don’t look bad. I remember Souness getting turned over by them as one of my first games I followed.

Also the ones at the Dell were a slog.
