It’s a logical result so far, especially when thinking about Kelleher’s great save at 0-0, and the fact that Szobo’s goal is the result of a gift from the Southampton defence. And the way the ball was lost before the penalty situation is ridiculous, it was a gift as well.
Our lads need to vastly improve in order to get something from the game, but can they do that after all their travels for their international teams last week? We’ll see.
We can only hope that Southampton will keep making mistakes at the back, and that we will be able to pounce on that and to score a goal while avoiding any further fuck-up at the back. Fingers crossed!
Konate has not had his best game so far. … given his yellow he should be off for Gomez.
There’s a case for subbing all of them bar Kelleher.

Exactly. And Slot needs to have a strong word with Konate (on a yellow) and Virgil (poor decision to try to dribble out with the defence open). Hope Slot can do his magic again.
