Guaranteed hattrick?

From the BBC

There have been 12,516 matches played in Premier League history, but only 39 of those have been between sides starting the weekend top and bottom in the league.

The bottom team has - perhaps unsurprisingly - only won four of those, the most recent being a 2-1 win for Wolves against Manchester United in February 2011.

Didn’t we have a season under Klopp when we failed to record a single win against the bottom 3?

Alex McCarthy in goal, bloody hell, he’s still around.

That 0-0 away in Reading still gives me nightmares.

Probably the best goalkeeper performance I’ve seen from an opposition against Liverpool in my following.

I swear one season we lost to Soton about 5 times across 3 competitions.

Then we decided to buy their players.

Liverpool had summoned 26 shots, 15 of them on target and were unfortunate to discover that Reading had a reserve goalkeeper, Alex McCarthy, who, in spite of being rusty, was in near-superhuman form.

How rusty is he today? :joy:

Remember Brendao then tried to sign him.

Good to see Lallana still playing. Always liked him as a Red.

We never played a team sitting this deep so far this season.

Oh no

Absolutely ridiculous from Konate that.

Nothing in that but some worrying signs.
