you are right we have been found out tactically ( PEP wrote a great book ) we lost legs with age but FSG kept our signings to the bare minimum , we rarely had two comparable players for the same position . since day 1 milner was covering moreno in left back then coverin trent on the right , hendo covering fabinho , no one to cover mane or salah untill we got diaz in January then we sold mane , we sold lovern and took one full season to buy knoate . this shit would not happen in chelsea , city , manure arsenal even Tottenham. FSG ran a shoe string budget no investment but selling and replacing only ( making lots of profit and the 10 increase in the club value
