Imo, it’s honestly hard to say (but in hindsight, YES!!!)
Because if the rest of the team had played like last season, I suspect Salah would have been way better. Not convinced that his body suddenly just went to shit at the same time the team went to shit. He may never get good again, true, but IF the rest of the team had played like we did on our best days last season, Salah may have prospered this season and who knows, maybe next one.
But I don’t know this of course. Just seems illogical to me that Salah “dies” when we are rock bottom. I suspect he dies because everything else has died and his mentality is therefore not in a place where is he able to get in form.
After all, training and recuperatation gets harder when you are older and if morale then is trash, not easy I suspect.

It really feels like he was playing awful before because his head was turned by PSG.
