Our best moment in the first half was Dom shooting from 50 yards away. We believe that it was from so far away that some stats aggregators didnt even include it as a shot on goal instead treating it as a throughball to no one that ended up in the keeper’s arms

I really feel sorry for Rio he’s a cracking talent the world at his feet but today showed he isn’t ready for regular premier league football. It was him been disposed which led to the quick breaks for both goals.
A club our size shouldn’t be having to have a 17 year old as your 2nd choice wing option.

Hardly. Fuck, on their second there was so much between them scoring and him losing the ball that we even had time to win the ball back and lose it again.
He plays far too individually right now. But fuck, its not like we’re losing coherence in our collective attacking play by throwing him out there. So my only reservation in doing that is in not making him wear this sort of disappointment of people watching serial winners play soulless, clueless football and then reacting negatively when the 17 year old doesnt turn it around with magic when he comes on

He lost on the edge of there box they break 70 yards forward. If he doesn’t lose it there the general shit show in our box doesn’t happen.
Actually, we won it back two separate times between him losing it and them scoring. There was maybe 90 seconds between the two.
He also hit the post and put in a great cross for Virg, there were far more senior and experienced players giving the ball away throughout the game
