Games Becker likely to miss.
Hopefully we are still in the champions league when he comes back.

There will still be 4 group games by the time he comes back, so we will still very much be in the CL.

Madness. Thereā€™s no rationale for running these internationals. No possible good can come from it.

Thats a heavy schedule for Adrian; letā€™s hope heā€™s working like mad on his kicking and positioning with his defenders.
Personally after the Villa debacle I think City will feel right back in it and will consequently be a much tougher adversary. 12/12 points in the league would help us squash them back down but apart from the blades they look tough games.

Wonder who they areā€¦ I assume it includes Mane but does it include Thiago.

Three at Westham are in this, itā€™s not a lot but if they donā€™t isolate quickly then it becomes an issue, I think internationals will massively put pressure on it.

2 of those C/L games should not be a problem with Adrian in goal.

If we lose to Midtjylland and Atalanta then there are bigger problems in the squand than having Adrian as our No. 2

Atalanta are a goal scoring machine, they could easily embarrass anyone who takes them lightly.

Alissonā€™s injury really screwed us, first and foremost Sundayā€™s abomination doesnā€™t take place with him and second we gave hope to every opponent we have coming up for the next weeks.

Just like it did last season, you mean?

Yes. Like it did with Atletico.

You totally underestimate these two teams. I really hope that Klopp and co will have done their homework on them. They are both formidable opponents with very potent forward line. In my book, both are more dangerous than the current version of Ajax.

You do know Alisson too have some atrocious moments.

Yawn. Iā€™m getting tired of repeating myself but that defeat was due to our outfield players not converting chances into goals during the ninety minutes. It should never have gone to extra time in the first place.

But it did. And he made a mess of it. Bottom line is that even if we completely minimize the opposing threat, he canā€™t be trusted. He is always prone to gift wrapping a goal with a stray pass or clearance.

We did eventually break through though and were on course to win the game until Adrian fucked it up. You donā€™t trip and break your leg walking through the front door when you get home and blame it on the fact that the you got caught in traffic on the way.

I think we have a winner for the prestigious TAN Spurious Analogy Award 2020.

Is thinking Adrian isnā€™t the reason we lost against Atletico

Incorrect.

Is thinking that he is.

Going talk about this til the cows come home, until we see him next we wonā€™t be able to judge, the team should however be looking at how best to compensate for the lack of Alisson then they should still beat these teams, if we are going defend offside with one or two players holding back and fucking up the line then we will get beat 6 or 7 every week.

Letā€™s hope Klopp and management are working on this, if we are honest is Alisson worth 7 goals if so then the defence needs dumping as well.
