Filthy. Filthy challenge. Cunts.
Digne and he even managed to catch his ankle twice, obviously not dangerous enough the first time so had a second go
He didnât mean to hit him, but it is still a clear direct red. But itâs not âdirty playâ. âDirty playâ is when you intentionally do stuff.
Deserved red. Why was Digne still protesting? Deluded
because he was frustrated and didnât mean to hit him like that probably.
But it is a crystal clear red.
The NBCSN commentator is saying Everton feel aggrieved by the red card. I think when they see the foul, they wonât be. I donât think Digne did that on purpose, but it was a straight red nonentheless.
Ancelotti: I donât understand. Pickford did not get a red. His was worse although bad luck I must say. So if that was worse and wasnât red, how is Digneâs a red? Oh, and someone fouled Hamez.
NBC thinks injustice has been done!
Everton seemingly never means to do anything. Just stuff happens. All the time.
Indeed. Straight red any day in the week.
Like you, I donât at all think it was malicious, certainly didnât seem like it, but when you miss like that, the consequences must be a red card always.
When you play Everton, make sure youâve paid your insurance policies.
I may have given him the benefit of the doubt but he caught the same ankle by the touchline, chased him down and jumped onto the back of the same ankle. Once may be accidental but i cant believe hitting the same ankle twice in 30 seconds can be.
Stuff can happen in high intensive games, mate. I think you know that very well. High speed and high intensity is more often than not the explanation. Still horrific tackle, still a straight red.
looked worse in slow motion. felt like he stood on his ankle for a full minute.
luckily the guy is ok
How old is James? Looks about 14 to meâŠbut then everyone looks young to me now
Yes. Agree. Ancelotti didnât tell Koulibali to injure Matip at the end of that one against Napoli. Just tough luck after the whistle had blown.
Lots of tough luck.
if it was like you think then he willingly went into a tackle that he knew must be a red. I donât buy that at all, particularly from his reaction.
If I ever find myself in high court, accused of a serious crime, I want @Magnus behind the bench as my judge! He will without a doubt, find me innocent.
Love ya mate. You know Iâm just funning with you! The place wouldnât be the same without your perspective.
Plus given his reaction I am sure he will apologize on Twitter and all will be fine. Until the next time.
Sometimes you stamp down and there happens to be an ankle or limb under your footâŠcanât be helped. Ask JonseyâŠhappens all the time
