Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

Maybe you find me provocative, that is fair enough. But usually it is the because a defender or midfielder has his blood boiling and mistimes his tackle. It is bad play, and the result is a red.
I don’t get why one must always suspect cruelty in the opponent. We never do that with our own players.

Did not mean to suggest you were provocative. Just didn’t agree with you. That can happen.

I have a hard time not assuming intent after three red-worthy fouls in two weeks.

For me, Ingsy has been MOTM. He has been outstanding in all phases.

@Magnus A voice of reason and compassion on a football forum. Rare as rocking horse poop.

Let us just agree to disagree for now, mate. I admit there is a chance that you are right, but I believe it is slim and that is my opinion as of current.

Why would he think it must be a red. Pickford didnt get one. I personally think theyve got away with so much that now they feel aggrieved when they dont get away with it. Malicious or not he had no concern for the other player. That seems to be pretty much team wide so unless theyre going out and buying brainless thugs then it has to come down to the way they are being coached.

@Magnus is also very very funny.

But he hasn’t scored, and that’s all strikers are meant to do. Right?

Hamess is obviously MOTM; so brave of him to even play after being at death’s door as recently as this morning and then soldiering on with an injury in the last ten minutes.

A true hero.

Would you say that one by Calvert was ok as well mate. Its just too many times to be a coincidence

Look I want no long debate, still time left in the game, but maybe the situations are not exactly the same. I have been very clear with both cases being direct red.
The idea that Everton thinks that the ref won’t ever punish them isn’t very logical to me.

I don’t want to nit-pick, but maybe Kevin Friend should go to the pitchside Monitor to have another look at that DCL challenge.

Karma for the snide behaviour after Thiago got hurt by Richarlison

Funny. Just had a friend who has only recently started watching ask if the Bitters are always dirty. I said no. Ancelotti thinks they are just misunderstood.

Yes, sorry but im a little over sensitive about this team at the moment, that attack on VVD is probably the biggest threat to our season and im starting to hate the way this team plays. Perhaps im seeing things in a biased way but they do seem to leave something extra in the challenge way more than even Wimbledon did in the old days. This is as close to the old bodyline tactics from cricket years ago with the exception that what these are doing is against the rules. I honestly think they’re being taught to play this way
