Arsenal have been atrocious tonight and got what they deserved. First away win at the arse in 47 years for Leicester.
Brendan snookered Pep with the low block rope-a-dope at the Etihad, and now heās done it to Mini-Pep at the Emirates with similar tactics. Seems heās added a new arrow to the quiver. Not a good watch, but brilliant management, considering all the injuries Leicester City have.
Congrats to Leicester, commiserations to Arsenal and particularly their manager, who is now going to be bound to have to answer several questions concerning the sulky ex-super star who refused to take a corona pay cut.
Heās cut him loose and I think the Fans support that move Magnus. Not naming him in his PL squad was the final nail in his coffin. They should just pay up his contract and cut him loose from the club permanently.
I would certainly do that. He was, maybe even is, if he behaves better, an excellent player. But it has been many years since he was one of the greats. Now he is 350 000 pounds per week out of the window.
Do they have major injuries???
Wilfred Ndidi (DM) is the key miss. Heās been out for several weeks and looks to be out for three months more perhaps.
Ricardo Pereira (RB) has been out since late last season. Youāve got 34-year-old Christian Fuchs in for him.
Caglar Soyuncu (CB) has been out the last few weeks and looks like heāll be out a similar amount of time to Ndidi with a similar injury, though one can believe thereās no diminution of quality in the way Wesley Fofana has been playing.
Then Vardy only played 30 minutes because heās coming back from a calf strain.
Iām pleased Leicester won tonight after the way the media have over hyped them. According to them, Arteta is the 2nd coming of the Messiah!
Havenāt see anything from Arteta to make me believe heās anything special. Seems he has more class than Fat Frank, doesnāt look as lost as OGS but essentially heās just trying to hit the big teams on the counter. Play it around at the back, suck teams onto them, then launch it long using their forwards pace.
Good week-end for us. We win a difficult game against a tough Sheffield side despite being screwed by VAR once again, while all usual top six lose points. Everton lose in order to deflate their confidence a bit.
We are joint top with Everton, while man cheaty are 13th, and the red mancs 15th, five respectively six points behind already.
Whilst we may not be as prolific or honed to the perfections of last seasonā¦ Jurgen will remain relentless in his march to attacking this league titleā¦ His expressions on pitch side alone show a steely grit and determination that the Evertons and VAR numptyās of this world will not displace.!
COYR
This is his third season with Southampton; second, if you consider full seasons. Twice he has conjured a great escape to keep them in Premier League. Is Ralph HasenhĆ¼ttl good enough to make them any better? I understand he was replaced by Julian Nagelsmann at Leipzig, so they didnāt think he was good enough for their ambitions.
Can see us be top of the table by the end of the week.
Really feels like this season will be a war of attrition. Fucked up schedules, and you can sense that any side can take points off any other side on any given day.
Just keep picking up the points and the others will crack, I am certain.
Will be satisfying as hell to win one the āhardā way, personally.
Iām sure he means on here.
Chat shit get what?
