This bloody Croatian commentator calls Pope Nicky Pope.
I think not even his mother calls him Nicky.

Chelsea is not playing amazing either. So far so good for Sean Dyche and his crew.
Yeah, well Burnley defending too deep and not playing very good either. And then keeper goes right at the moment he shoots, and it looks awkward.
Soft goalkeeping there. Shot almost straight down the middle and Popeās nowhere near it.
Yeah, but can happen. Thing is he misread the situation, so was going one way, and then he kind of keels over slowly like a boat and not a jumping jaguar, unable to go for the ball. Looks stupid every time it happens.
Iām back from my run. You can go now. Iāll take care of this.
The problem with these spiders is that when you crush them you may accidentally hit a link that may take you to an @SBYM post.
Bawahaha werner
You have been rather contrary recently. I assume you have watched the Premier League for a good long while now. Being found out is pretty common where a team or player does well and then stagnates the year after. In some cases it is expected and then doesnāt happen with the player kicking on like Kane and Vardy for example. It simply means that teams and players evolve the longer they carry on and if they donāt then they simply remain as they are and the League does eventually āfind them outā.
Game over for Burnley what a header.
Poor defending from Dyche bags team again.
Once Burnley goes down 2 in any match, that match should be stopped and the next match should commence.
I definitely agree that Iām not looking for an attrition battle. Iām just saying that I think it actually might suit us of all teams. Virgil is definitely a monumental miss, but even if other teams donāt have their stars do ACLs, the increased fixture density might result in a number of injuries as a result of a lack of fitness. And in a sport where marginal gains are so important, I think our players are fitter than any other group.
I guess if you were asking me whether I would bet on us winning the league, Iād say no I wouldnāt put money on it like I would have last year at this stage, but I think we are definitely in it even with how banged up we are. And if we can get some semblance of health again, weāre going to take some stopping.
Burnley are crap never even mamnaged a shot on target yet and they at home.
I know, still early days and 32 match days to play but as it stands things looking grim for Burnley. No motivation, no creativity, no clue. The clock is about to strike midnight and their coach will return to a pumpkin.
Yeah, I am sometimes contrarian for sure. At other times I am not. It depend on what I think. Hope you donāt mind.
I think form is much more significant factor and I donāt think it has that much to do with other clubs knowing more about how they play. But maybe the saying means something else than being literary. I have always taken it as someone thinks that someone literally finds them out. Not a common term we use in Norway at least.
Anyway, now it is Liverpool.
Today is that typical you must win to keep ahead and we did, hopefully some amusement on Sunday.
Souness did us no favor here. Might have been the last penalty Mo received for a long time.
Maybe itās time for this old man to retire.
Salah may well win an Oscar for his dramatic acting skills at falling down⦠However, time and time again these incompetent referees DO Not give a penalty unless the player goes to ground!
This is the point Souness missed to stateā¦
Salah had his foot/ankle kicked = Foul
Foul in the Penalty Area (by definition alone) = Penalty
To be fair, he played in a different era when divers were the exception and were despised by the fans and their fellow pros. Now, of course, if he plays for another team then he dived, but if he is your player he is entitled to go down because he felt contact.
Where I think Salah has gained his reputation is when he initiates contact by backing in to the defender and then falling backwards into them.
Simulation is an aspect of modern football I hate and I do see where Souness is coming from.
I have no doubt falling convincingly is actually being encouraged by coaches of all teams in this VAR age. Having watched football since the 1950s I much prefer the 60s & 70s when you went to the match and everything was judged in real time and we moved on and looked forward to the next game. For me the standard of play is far better but the whole ethos of the game and particularly in the Prem is horrible.
