To be fair, even if I except an obvious easy City win (really Fulham are not a good competition for the best teams in the Prem) and a probable United win (West Ham of course much better than Fulham, but United are better and probably wants to retaliate after what was probably a painful experience against the French), it was still nice that Burnley is starting to move and shake. Last round, they got points, and now they shared points with Everton.
Not that I like Burnley mind you, but since it is Everton it is okay.
A measly 2-0 against the PL whipping boys. Only deserve 1 point for that.
Ole is going with his two biggest wasters tonight , Pogba and Martial. Rashford and Fernandes on the bench.
It can only end in tears.
Come on you Ammers !
Donât really want Hammers to get anything out of this match. A draw would be best in my view.
The two key words.
Whatâs the rational for the return of fans? Surely, thereâs more virus in London now than there was in the spring.
Not according to Bozo and his chums.
Decent start by West Ham. I m feeling generous today so want to say something positive about a man usually bereft of good words on a Liverpool forum, and that is that David Moyes has stabilized West Ham and made it into a team that challenges most teams. They are much more hardy than previous editions but have retained their offensive abilities and probably actually also improved them. I think Moyes is doing an excellent job.
I am buying @cynicaloldgit one of these number 5 Chevy zebra jailbird shirts for Christmas.
Manchester United starts off bad, right now they are disjointed defensively (first mins of the match however) while West Ham starts with confidence and aggression. Nice attack that now ended in an offside-goal. Attack was still very nice to watch, and I doubt Ole Gunnar liked how they stretched his defense. West Ham right now in the driving seat, more physical and more aggression. This can change quickly if Manchester U gets a counter though, since they are very good at those. With a goal to Man U, I suppose the game will change. So let us hope they wonât get it, and that West Ham manages to score the first goal. Manchester United team that tries to score and push for an equalizer is much more likely to end up with more goals against.
Good start by West Ham in any case, I actually think this game will be good.
Excellent. Saves me buying toilet paper through the month of January. Thanks!
Oh dear. Now Mrs @Alright_Now is mocking Pogba and she never mocks anyone (unlike you low-class ignoble horrible lot).
Game more even now, after some 10 min where West Ham was shocking MU a bit with aggression. MU have unfortunately stablised now after West Hamâs aggressive start.
West Ham not backing down.
I find Unitedâs stability is always fragile as their midfield canât hold the ball.
Yeah, but they are not stretched anywhere near as much as in the first 10 min when West Ham was launching strike after strike and MU had difficulties coping with West Hams tempo shifts. Now MU actually gets to attack themselves, so I would argue that it is pretty much even now.
A real good game to watch with high tempo.
Why should they?
Donât be insolent
Haha! Man U defenders making Bowen look like Maradona.
Pogba Cavani blah blah going to need that Bruno PK if they canât hold the ball
