I am still very careful in making a judgement on him. I won’t do that this season for sure other than to say that his debut season in the Premier League has been lacking so far. But I am wary of his talent, he may click, which he hasn’t yet, and then be outstanding next season. Not a player I am prepared to ridicule as of yet anyway.
Bamford has a bit of choirboy surliness to him, too. I like that.
Mason Mount on the PL all crybaby team. He’s Jonny Evans level sour.
That surliness was a new type for me. Thanks for improving my vocabulary regarding idioms and metaphors.
But yeah, Leeds still playing and getting into dangerous situations, as I have come to expect from them.
What’s with the cat calls every time 14 has the ball?
And LOL Timo. Nice touch.
In fairness, he’s found himself in excellent positions several times, but Meslier has had his number over and over (the post and crossbar, too).
And I thought in such an attacking side, having Werner in my fantasy team would be such a brilliant strategy from my side. Useless goal missing machine.
Same situation no penalty. Unreal.
Should this have been a pen for Leeds?
Olivier Giroud at 34 - on fire.
Wayne Rooney at 34 - in Derby.
Didn’t seem different from the Brighton one against us
Commentators saying if you don’t go down you don’t get a penalty. That thought changes when Salah plays though. Hypocrites.
Unlike Welbeck - the Leeds player didn’t went down like he was shocked with a stun gun.
Yeah, to be totally frank, Salah and sometimes Mane, can be embarrassing to a high degree and I understand opposition ridicule. But calls like this highlight problem. That you get penalties easier if you go down like shot by a 50 calibre rifle. I hope this gets changed in the not so distant future, so we can start giving yellow cards for the lousy falls/dives and start giving the penalties to every situation that merits one if there is contact enough to disturb the player (not every fall is a yellow obviously, but some are indeed that).
I don’t have high hopes for this though, so we will probably continue to see the popular “falls like shot” or even dives. It is a systemic problem though.
Leeds just can’t get out of their own half and when they do they give the ball away. Frustrating.
I really dislike this Chelsea team. The arrogance, for having won absolutely fuck all, is embarrassing.
Yeah but not due to lack of effort. Leeds really fighting till the end. They are probably lucky to only be 1 down, but no one can blame them on effort I would argue, they have never stopped trying. Chelsea is a side with good players though.
The chavs have bossed this half.
Game over 3-1.
Same score as the last match, but my money is on Leeds to finish above West Ham. That Leeds - West Ham fixture this Friday is looking tasty.
