Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

Yeah Christian! Eat a chocolate bar and shut up. Fuck you “Captain America”.

3-1, a fair result.
Thanks to both teams for the entertainment, it was a very good game to watch.

Glad to see Roman’s £162M cash outlay this summer is yielding results. Shut the league down now and give them the trophy, Chelsea is top of the table in December.

This league is fucking rigged. It was Kevin Friend on VAR last week that had Atwell look at Robbos kick. Yet turns a blind eye tonight. Asshole.

They might be up there come end of the season, but I don’t think they will finish top 2. Even with injuries galore, I have more confidence in our squad and management. City will be higher up the table pretty soon, but I don’t think they will win it at all. Tottenham for Dark Horse.

I agree, fuck Chelsea. I was being sarcastic. Even with all that cash they still won’t win the league.

A bit on the side this, but this is also why I fear I will never know how good Pep Guardiola really is or have been. Did he really build on his own that Barca side ? I am not that well versed in Spanish football so can’t say but I doubt it. In Germany he had an easy job, but his Tiki Taka didn’t impress me in the Champions League,I thought Bayern were much better under Jupp Heinkes. Much more direct forward looking and offensive under Heinkes, and Tiki Taki may look great for lovers of the passing game, but it doesn’t create THAT many chances since the onus is not on getting forward fast.
And then City. Sure, they played brilliantly, but they gathered, with infinite cash, what they thought were the best footballers on earth except Messi and Ronaldo and maybe Zlatan and a few others. Otherwise, they had their pick of the very, very best.
Is that greatness ? To just collect a team of wonderful ballers and then win, being obviously better than the rest ? On the other hand we have JĂŒrgen Klopp, who took over a team with many frailties, and just massively improved that team, not by picking the individual best in the world, but by picking good players with great promise and ensuring that they bloom. The same is true for Bielsa, he has even had arguably more difficult job than Klopp, can understand why he is compared to the best.

But Guardiola ? It is silver platter after silver platter and still no Champions League. How good is he exactly ? Hard to know, I just know that very good football players like him and like playing in his system and thinks his football is sexy, but that is all I can judge. How good is he at creating a team ? I don’t know. Few do I think.

I’m sure he puts those silver platters to good use.

Not impressed with Leeds. Their plan A looks great. The way they attack looks choreographed. But early in the second half and especially when behind they run out of steam.

Sky Sports would agree with that. They’re having an orgasm because Chelsea have gone top.

In fairness, all their players are crap.

Hope it’s nothing personally bad?

Anyhow the problem with weekend football as it’s scheduled it creates a narrative.

But srsly, I do feel sorry for Big Ben
always got the impression he is a shy, gentle soul.

3 goals in 53 games can’t have been the best time for him.
