Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

You have to give Mourinho credit for playing him deeper. He rarely wastes a ball.

Artetas position may be in danger if this becomes a rout. Terrible start by Arsenal (not this game, but the season). Corona and this is an odd season, but still.

Kane is just very good and so is Son. I like to ridicule Kane because he sounds stupid when he talks, but he is a football player with rare awareness. He may be intellectually an idiot, but he has real football intelligence.

A cracking goal, Arteta has stifled arsenal attacking play with his defensive crap. They still can’t defend

Arteta has the persona and mannerisms of a robot combined with a CV which has ā€˜I worked with Pep Guardiola’ as its biggest feature. I cannot see why he is getting so much traction as one of the best young managers in the world.

Speculative, but Bielsa would have really suited Arsenal I think. Glad he is at Leeds.

I have no idea if he is intellectually gifted or inept even. I just wish he’d close his mouth while breathing. That’s all.

Yeah, agreed. He may or may not become a very good manager, but as of now, he has less experience than SolskjƦr and it is a bit silly when he is talked up as one of the greats. Let us just wait and see where Arteta is in 2 years from now. He is very much learning on the job.

The only real neutral here is fake @Colossal_centre_back. He gets to laugh at Mourinho or his brother.

Just waiting for the next Spurs goal from a counter. Seems almost inevitable.

How did we lose the CS to these shit-trucks?

Kane was interviewed about racial abuse on BBC radio recently and I think he came over really well. I have never really got the hate for him. He seems like a pretty grounded guy to me.

Anyway I have no doubt the Marine lads will have a plan to keep Son and Kane quiet

I think the issue with him and Klopp is that Klopp is focusing on health of players while he is focusing on the health of his club, which imo is selfish from a player pov.

Oh, this is agree with. But I understand why he is saying what he is saying concerning subs. I don’t appreciate it, but it doesn’t really provoke me since I understand that the big clubs have indeed an advantage when it comes to subs. However, I think Wilder is wrong, since he may very well find a key man injured one of these days and then maybe he will sing another tune.

And that may be correct. He is probably a nice guy, he may even be very smart. I don’t know. I would normally never judge a man on their vocabulary anyway, not his kindness in any case, but I take like all fans, certain poetic freedoms when it comes to describing rival players when I fancy it. But I try to not go overboard with that.
Kane is probably a great guy, I don’t know really.

The AFTV watch along is rather subdued.

Kane and Son are amazing players, like Salah and Mane level. I’ve seen quite a few people refer to Kane as a poacher over the years which is a massive misrepresentation of his quality.

He’s a very easy guy to dislike, especially after the Eriksen incident, but a top class footballer.

Just wait for the final whistle if they lose. It will be much more fun then
