Nah; it starts when they reach the last 16.

Of the Europa League.

Pawson is another one not to trust. Gave the blueshite a pen a couple of years back when Calvert Lewin initiated contact with Lovren and was also the ref in the FA Cup game against West Brom (might have been same season) when VAR was first introduced, made 3 ‘decisions’ in the first half that would have seen us 4-1 down at half-time but had to overturn them after looking at the monitor. Not to be trusted.

It would be quicker to name those we can.

I’m sure we can trust the ref who officiated in last world cup tournament

Wasn’t that the game when he failed to send Holgate off for deliberately pushing Firmino into the crowd? I agree, he can’t be trusted.

Bobby was livid. Never seen him like that before or after. Shows what a dangerous thing to do it was. Not going to say challenge because it wasn’t.

That was the FA cup game (might have been Madley), the Lovren one was the league match. That Holgate incident still infuriates me, no apology or anything for the actual push or the fact he claimed Bobby used a racist insult, all brushed under the carpet. I think Holgate was ‘injured’ for the rest of the season, if I was a cynic I’d suggest the FA told Everton to keep the cunt under wraps until it was forgotten about.

Yeh, I’d forgotten about Holgate falsely alleging Firmino had racially abused him. A disgusting thing to accuse someone of, when it never happened. There was never any repercussions over that either.

It seemed cynically done to avoid a card for shoving Firmino.

I think the ref that night was Bobby Madley.

I’m off on Wednesday this week, boss; as you know, that means no match review tomorrow night.

What’s that sound I hear? Wild celebrations?
