He reminds me of Emre Can at times. Big, physical (sometimes a bit too aggressive), can play a bit, covers about the same sort of positions/roles in the team in midfield or defence. Maybe more physical/defensive minded than Emre.

Oh god no. He gave out yellow cards just for players jumping with their arms in natural jumping positions (case in point: Benteke with 2 yellows.)

Kevin Freind falls under the average ones but yeah I get the point of the guy on VAR, Mariner won’t get us again I reckon.
I’m not a big fan on conspiracies I do think some are just generally useless but Coote concerns me and that Fabinho challenge which forced Mariner over to the screen was just baffling.

Looks nice (and also twice the cost of Kirkby I think). After winning the title, almost getting relegated the year after, but then establishing as themselves as a stable PL club, selling a few players for big money… they’re putting money into infrastructure.
