Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

I said at start of season Frank Fattard was out of his depth. He could no longer be the plucky novice operating with hands tied behind his back.

Not even some injuries, what a dross game

He was out of depth at Derby :sunglasses:

I know which made his appointment even more baffling.

I thought the did ok there, but yeah ok isn’t a platform for one of the bigger jobs in England. Would have done better buying one or two players such as a goalie and building, instead Chelsea rushed ahead and bought the market out and they haven’t got the coach who can improve them, Havertz was wonderful to watch at Leverkusen now he looks depressed.

Werner will come good with time as will Havertz but that may be elsewhere. Mendy who looked solid is becoming slightly questionable.

Frank probably needs to worry as Roman isn’t patient and we have a sizeable gap between the next league game.

I mean, better City won the game tonight than this fixture last season. :man_shrugging:

It’s crazy to think United had a VAR/PEN decision at one point this season, after the final whistle, that allowed them to come back on the pitch to kick the winning goal.

Hasn’t he blamed Klopp yet?

Dunno we would have won that league eventually.

Of course, but I think there was an eagerness to get it over with. Certainly was with me!

So the battle of the sugar daddies ended with the cheating sugar daddy landing the big KO to the merely hanging-on sugar daddy. I detest chelski but I absolutely loathe cheateh and all that they stand for: They’re a bit like the Tories, only with bottomless funding. Operating without a moral compass and with a ‘F*ck the rest as long as I win’ attitude. A pox on both their houses anyhoo.

And they missed the boat with Pochetino but they would have a chance with Tuchel

So let me get this straight. City are guilty of multiple breaches of COVID protocols, and their punishment for this is to get to play Chelsea with three days more rest and those players who took the piss, risking other people’s safety and the integrity of the football bubble, sitting on the bench or playing as normal.

What the actual fuck?

Correct. However, we weren’t allowed to postpone a game even when it clashed with a match on another continent two days later.

No, no, there is an internal investigation!

It’s a not guilty investigation.
