Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

To cost them the title? Doubt it.

Everton would probably still roll over.

Maybe. When it comes to us, they are both as bitter as each other. The one difference is Ancelotti isn’t bent out of shape over us.

Are you sure? Managed Milan in 2005. His players have a history of injuring ours
Koulibali on Matip at Anfield, broken collar-bone, Pickford, Richarlison
get’s a free pass on here for some reason, not sure why.

From memory, he was was disappointed over Istanbul, but it wasn’t something he obsessed over. He accepted it and moved on.

Pickford and Richarlison are both cunts of the highest order, so I doubt them injuring our players would have been something they would have done without being instructed to do so.

Don’t remember the challange by Koulbali, so not sure if it was something that can be blamed on Ancelotti or not - but at the end of the day, football is a contact sport so sometimes injuries do happen.

Smug Brendan. Just saw his post game remarks and this is vintage BR; “Sorry we ruined everyone’s first versus second matchup that was set for later in the day”

There has been the discussion before about Ancelotti. By all accounts he was quite combative as a player and the sides he’s managed have also been on the physical side. Just because he looks suave and managed great teams is by no means an indicator that he’s a shrinking violet. If anything, as he’s moved on from the elite, winning teams his team’s have become even more cynical and physical as a leveler. Napoli were pretty awful and so are Everton now. He is well aware of what his team’s do, make no mistake about it.

@Kopstar

What punishments are possible for West Ham and West Brom signing an agreement that Snodgrass wouldn’t play against his parent club?

Was he originally there on loan? Then converted into a permanent deal? If so an arrangement that he should still be prohibited from playing against West Ham is permitted under the rules.

Vardy appears to be indestructible. He limped off a few days ago but starts tonight
A young Vardy would be a great fit for us

I don’t believe he was ever loaned to West Brom.

The Premier League are investigating whether West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion breached regulations with an agreement that Robert Snodgrass would not play in tonight’s match at London Stadium, reports Oliver Kay.

West Brom manager Sam Allardyce revealed beforehand that Snodgrass was unavailable for the game due to “an agreement between the clubs” as part of the deal to sign the former Scotland midfielder from West Ham on January 8.

Such an agreement — whether written or informal — might constitute a breach of Premier League regulation I 7, which states that “no club shall enter into a contract which enables another party to that contract to acquire the ability materially to influence its policies or the performance of its teams in league matches”.

The league are investigating the matter.
