Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

HA!

Noice. Very noice.

I think they have set an unwanted precedent with this one given the publicity. If I was a coach I would be sitting all my players down and playing that over and over again.

Maybe I would also be ordering some invisibility cloaks… :joy:

This could become a tactic that can be usefully employed. It will be interesting to see how it pans out…

It all pivots upon what the referee deems ā€œdeliberately plays the ballā€ to mean.

According to moss, this was Lovren deliberately playing the ball:

On this basis there’s no argument; rodri was played onside by mings.

The law is an ass.

Your clip shows that Lovren undoubtedly did attempt to deliberately play the ball though and made contact. You can’t let him off just because he made a mess of it…

Snot from Kane makes the ball bounce funny thus causing Lovren to miss kick it,they should make Kane wear a fucking bib.

To be fair it doesn’t help to claim bias when we’ve been utterly shit the last 4 games.

Everton and Brighton and the time taken over the challenge by Fabinho at Fulham, that’s fine and Man Utd have dubiously been given everything, I agree that’s a bias and I agree there is a bias against us.

Doesn’t allow us to escape how crap we have been 4 games in a row (ignore the second half of the cup).

I love De Bruyne but this does fill me with joy also… finally some bad luck for City

Vardy out as well, hopefully lady luck catching up with the other teams finally.

Has to happen sooner or later, it’s just not humanly possible to keep playing every 3/4 days for months on end without it catching up on everyone. Hell, I’m tired just watching the games!

Will City have enough without KDB? Season gets better for Utd with these 2 injuries.

You do wonder, he has dragged them through games and what not. The thing with City is they are quite defensively at the moment, if a team scores though you wonder what will happen, frankly the Villa game showed they are vulnerable.

If we were in any semblance of form I’d be hopeful but this directly benefits Man Utd, 4-6 weeks is a lot of games if we are honest. Be more interested in it derailing their CL hopes mind.

Guess now we know why he was limping at the end of every match. Will be interesting to see how they cope without him.

KDB is a massive loss. Should definitely damage their momentum. I never would wish an injury to a player, but imagine Man United without Bruno Fernandes. He’s the spark in that side.
