Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

You are probably right. Still a nice execution

This 60 minutes must have wiped away any optimism Spurs fans had towards this season.

Incredibly dull, rigid team.

You have seen who their manager is, right?

He isn’t dull…just rigid.

This is poor, sadly can’t judge this Everton team based on this, would have beaten this lot 4-1 yesterday I feel.

Probably only Fulham and WBA have been worse.

He’s starting to look a bit embarrassed.

Spurs look completely lifeless. Just bland and devoid of any inspiration. Shame for Steve Bergwijn bc he’s always so full of life and energy.

The interesting this is it isnt an overly defensive selection. It’s an attacking front 4. Two relatively progressive mids, or at least ones who arent there solely to hold, and at least one very progressive FB. On paper it SHOULD be a fairly vibrant side.

Remember the hype there used to be around Mourinho’s second season once…

No wonder rival fans call him the special once.

Who will Jose throw under the bus if this score is a result. He has lots of options there in fairness.

Seems like he dragged N’dombele out from under the bus and into the match…

I would say Everton’s defence looks better but any teams would against this Spurs attack today.

A bit amusing. The live update from vg, a Norwegian newspaper has a box where you can click for which team you hope will win a game. So far, 5300 cirka Tottenham, 5450something for Everton. And while Everton have some Norwegian fans, Tottenham is a bigger club so got more. Just shows you that they are unpopular with neutrals. I can guarantee you that Mourinho is partly to blame for these numbers !

Allan and James have been impressive today. Two transfer coups for Everton.

Ah, nice, nice. At this rate Son will be here by end of September.

As nice as this would be - give the young lads some space! :no_mouth:

To me they weren’t anything special, ironically they looked better in defence, they were wasteful going forward as usual.

Spurs were wank, probably for the quality they have it was the worst team I saw all weekend.

Spurs were utter garbage, did fuck all and just meandered through the game.

Lots of tension in that team

hmmmm … I wonder why ?

Mourinho is gonna do there exactly what he did at Utd , and Spurs fans will be asking why the fuck did we sack Poch for him ?
