Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

We have 3 league games in the next 11 days.

  • Saints at Anfield is a must win

  • The derby in midweek

  • and then it’s away against Wolves who are in form similar to Brentford and Brighton when we played them.

Welcome to Bundesliga West. I say from now on no German manager can take an English job without a UK boss heading to Deutschland. Let’s get a bus with Sam Allardyce, Alan Pardew and Tony Pulis heading to Germany post haste. Balance things out.

Same with Italy, Spain and Portugal, by the way. A real exchange program. Tim Sherwood, in which of those countries would you like to manage?

Arsenal v Newcastle is poor so far. I’m on the fence here I don’t want either to win. The arse will though.

BT commentator is at it again. “Ramsdale has been as good as anyone in the Premier League, this season”. Really??

It wouldn’t surprise me if Newcastle were to sneak a win here. The Arse just don’t look like scoring.

Arsenal have been poor so far, I expected them to be all over Newcastle, after the mauling they got last week.

Aubamayang misses an absolute sitter!

Sitter doesn’t even capture it. He probably could not play that ball and not have it wind up in goal 9 out of 10 times if he was trying.

He’s well on his way to being the next Ozil.

What a crap 45 minutes of football and a silent stadium.

I want Brighton to win today and a winner in the Palace/Villa game. That combination would drop Utd to 10th :+1:

Good goal that. Lego head can calm down now.

Brilliant from Saka and deserved. He’s turned it up a notch this half. Great cross from him moments ago. Excellent example of onside discipline from him, too.

Well worked move for the Arsenal goal, I guess, but Newcastle really are a terrible squad.

EDIT: @El_Dorado you have much more class than I. I can be petty, it pains me to say anything even remotely nice about Arsenal after the way Arteta behaved to The Boss!

So that they would have the motivation to beat Chelsea?

Frankly I don’t give a shit about them I just want our closest rivals to drop points.

One of the few players from rivals I really would like to have in our squad…

Completely agree. Just 20. He might be something special. Under Klopp even more so.

Could do with a Norwich win today too, although that’s as likely as getting gored by a white Rhinocerus on your way home from the pub.

Not really. They have won their last two. On a roll.
