Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

I’d be happy with a draw

I know the best result for us, is a Utd win. But I just can’t help it, I want Utd to get battered.

Nah I dislike them as much as Chelsea and I wouldn’t want them to help Chelsea’s record.

Them getting thrash with Carrick in charge doesn’t do anything for me

If they win again with Carrick in charge tomorrow they will consider him as a permanent manager in the future again or maybe during this season already. Would be funny.

Unless it is a PL rule, it is 5. If a team cannot field 7 players, under standard rules that side forfeits. Doesn’t have to be from players sent off, injuries with no remaining substitutions have the same effect.

5-5 would be good and a couple of reds each.

And a few handbag fights…

Nah 3-0 to United and I don’t even care if it is a Ronaldo hat trick. That would be perfect. A real dent in Chelsea confidence… 2-0 Chelsea though is the more likely outcome.

Potter made the mistake of building up the hope in the fans by getting Brighton to play well…
Fans need to be careful what they are intimating with the boo’s… Potter will be off first chance

Yeah, I dont want to go to work tomorrow either

Wow, how much accumulation is ‘heavy’ snow? We’ve not had more than a frosting here, though it is - 11 C so would accumulate.

2mm snow in the UK. Chaos.

To be fair there is a pub in the pennines that has been cut off for two days…

Anything that lasts longer than 2 minutes

Not a massive amount, but when you factor in unplowed roads and vehicles with what we would call ‘summer tires’, makes sense. There is enough snow to make logistics challenging, plus unlike the recent Canada qualifier in Edmonton (played on artificial turf) you could not really plow Turf Moor without making a mess of the pitch.

I was thinking of whether to watch (or maybe not watch) the Chelsea vs ManU game and am feeling a bit conflicted. This game is like watching Putin and Trump play the lead characters in the The Blue Lagoon - completely inappropriate, revolting, is blinding me just thinking about it but all the time sort of curious due to hoping that they both give each other some sort of long lasting (and horribly disfiguring) affliction that torpedoes their season (and many subsequent seasons to come). What to do?
