Harvey Barnes is on fire today.
With Bowen doing well yesterday, makes me think of that scene in the Dark knight trilogy where the Joker snaps a pool cue in two throwing one half to the floor and inviting the guys to fight fill an opening in his gang.
Arlo White: “The way Leicester defend set pieces, the advantage would be to give the free kick.”
Villa goal disallowed harshly.
That’s a bad decision. Should be a goal, eh?
Not a fan of that rule at all.
Should be a goal.
Isn’t the rule both hands? Even if not, that is really difficult to justify.
That what I thought. Shocking decision for me.
It’s not even that he got Kasper’s hand before the ball…that was clearly all ball.
Fortunate to get away with that, Schmeichel feigning injury because he was embarrassed. But Leicester should be winning this game, they’ve wasted several good chances to score.
Even Tim Howard thinks it should be a goal.
On the US coverage, they are reviewing the rule from IFAB and its honestly incomprehensible. They put effort into explaining when a keeper is no longer deemed to be in possession after once being so (think, when kicking it), but doesnt do anything at all to explain when a keeper is viewed to be in possession after making a save.
It appears though the ref’s interpretation (no idea id reasonable based on reading the words of the rule) is to apply an almost rugby like downward pressure on the ball to define control.
Schmeichel is such a dishonest prick. Every goal is offside, and when you watch the replay, he has no pain reaction at all to the moment when the ball is kicked. He turns his head, watches the ball in, then turns his head back, then grabs his hand and winces.
It sounds like a lot of Everton fans have gone to the Villa game, constant booing.
2-1 Villa
Make that 5 conceded from corners in 3 matches. That’s horrendous.
From another corner! Very poor
That’s that backpost defence on corners we knew and did not love.
I mean, we had Flappy Bird, and it was never this bad.
Maybe I am the only one but imo the only ‘likeable’ thing about Rodgers is that he was our manager.
