Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

I agree hes a good coach; but Levy is in charge at Spurs too. If nuno can get him fully on board there is a small chance, but they won’t be winning the PL anytime soon imo.

Wonder what Blue Moon is like atm … sobby campers calling for Pep’s liver?

Yup I don’t get it. Has Mourinho destroyed his confidence that much!

Spurs are never real title contenders. Even the year everyone else shit the bed and they found themselves in a 2-team race with Leicester they finished third. The issue with Spurs is can they can get back to being good enough to make life difficult for the other sides trying to finish the top 4. Personally, with a side I expect to be challenging for the title, I’d prefer more sides capable of taking points off the big sides as even though it is ostensibly harder it leaves more margin for error.

Well, for instance;

“Fuck this team. Woeful. 4th place and no trophies with this attitude. I’d change my mind if I were Kane. Cunts.”

“And that’s what happens when you leave half of your first team on the bench. Never learns about playing his best and strongest team. Deserved everything we got there.”

They really should flog him now. He’s never really been missed when he was out so getting the dosh and adding quality with it could set them up for a few years.

Its been mentioned if the money from his sale would be available for transfers. The still have the 175 million loan they took from the government to pay back.

Nuno is a good coach who has had Pep’s number for a while, at Wolves he didn’t give them an inch for Spurs it will be the other teams.

They will give the top 6 a game.

:lemon: squash fest , what I’m reading so far. Salt to follow…

They’re certainly not known for burning with optimism’s flames over there.

ManC has exactly the fan base they deserve - 90% glory hunters the lot of them - nothing but hate if they haven’t their constant gratification knob rubbed…

Wish Spurs hadn’t won, Pep is going to be crying to his sugar daddy for sure now

City are 13 in the table. :wink:

I can see City dropping more than 5 further points before they face us in the autumn. Probably not in the next two games mind.

It would be hilarious if Arteta pulls off the upset against them. That said, now that I’ve mentioned it, Arsenal will probably lose 6-0.

That was never a penalty in Newcastle vs West Ham. I thought refs would do better with pitchside monitors. Atkinson never bothered checking and the VAR ref never corrected him. Both players simultaneously kicked the ball and the West Ham player fell over. Doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season. Refereeing remains shite.
