Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Hope Leeds get relegated, never forgiven them for “earn it” bullshit, and their scummy fans (generally speaking). We could do with 1 or 2 of their players as well. Relegation discount.

Take note Newcastle and Howe, that’s what a head injury is.

Leeds remind me of Sheffield United a bit.

They came up, played a bit of a radical style, got some good results. Found out in their second season.

They’ve got some better quality than Sheffield United (Raphinha, Phillips) but also some absolute dross. How is Forshaw playing premier league football? Stuart Dallas? Ayling? Koch? Roberts? Championship footballers.

Leeds haven’t recovered from the destruction from last game. Arsenal are dominating them.

Fantastic goal from Arsenal, Leeds self destructing.

Stuart Dallas goes on a Matip like adventure but with Maguire ability.

Martinelli is superb, good to see him back after that injury. He’s so quick.

I think there should be a vaccine mandate for the Premier League, and then coupled with that, the show can go on.

There may need to be some other tangential rules put in place, but that’s the jist of it. If vaccinated the more serious outcomes are very significantly diminished. Transmission rates are also reduced.

We are living in a very different world today to when this all broke out at the beginning. The vaccine has radically changed the calculus. It should be mandated, and the show can go on.

They’re just so soft. Bullied off the ball again and again. That’s before you get to the fundamentals, like making sure you keep the attacker onside even though you’re miles away from him.

Vaccinated, positive test, allow them to play whenever negative.
Unvaccinated, positive test, 10 days minimum regardless of new test result.

Definitely a lot better than what we have now. Personally I would go further and mandate the vaccine.

This is a laughable performance from Leeds.

After having seen this I’m wondering how City only scored 7.

It would be interesting to know the numbers, I assume our 4 are fully vaccinated and maybe even booster, no need to name names but get some statistical data from the entire league. It seems like the majority are breakthrough infections (due to vaccination levels of PL) not that it makes a difference as you can’t play if you infected.

Damn, Arsenal 3 goals.

Hopefully they’ll stay inept until after Boxing Day…

You watch, they’ll be completely different on Boxing Day, that’s if the game is played.

This could be another 7-0.

Arsenal should realistically have 6 already, some excellent saves and blocks.

Without Phillips Leeds are just so powder puff. Arsenal are cutting through them at will.

Bielsa may have been better advised calling it off, rather than playing with too many fringe players and kids. Still, I sort of admire it, but as a sporting proposition, we are starting to get too many mismatches due to players being out.

I don’t think they can as the majority are injuries not sickness.

Call it off because they’ve got a few injuries?
