Premier League 2021/22 (Part 2)

:eyes:

Interesting half at the Etihad. Olsen looked pretty uncomfortable, made some errors, but got the job done when it counted. City had Villa on their heels until the goal. Then Villa found more of the ball. What a goal, though.

If only Watkins had taken his chance it would have been awesome. Villa looked dangerous as game moved on. Another 15 minutes if they maintain their clean sheet Coutinho/Watkins can score in the break and make it 2-0 Villa. We got to get our job done soon. Need to score a couple ourselves. Got to keep it cool and take our chances.

Fernandinho getting away with his usual, good news though is he is struggling at the back.

He’s off now, after getting away with a naughty one that could have seen a red card. Looks like he’s gone to the much more sensible option of Stones at CB, Cancelo over to the right and Zinchenko on the left.

Jota could have done better there .

Watkins should have scored a brace by now…

Just get Ings on for Watkins…

Unbelievable, city have injury in injury time, 1min 30 secs, ref obviously blows a minute early. Close. Villa couldn’t get out of the corner for about 8 mins.

Meanwhile, Man United go out with a whimper. Would have ended up in Conference League if WHU had done the business.

Several City fans injuring themselves during their pitch invasion. Lying on the pitch like the trainers will come out for them. You’d think they never won the title before.

FT: Burnley 1-2 Newcastle

One poor young lad wearing a Nick Pope top stands here at Turf Moor, tears flowing down his cheeks. We’ve all been there young 'un. Believe me when I tell you, this will only make the good times sweeter when they come.

This sucks.

Burnley won’t be back anytime soon. And it will be fascinating to watch how it plays out financially for them.

Wonder if they regret not signing the scouse Maldini now…how did the lad from Stoke do this season?

What a season.

If only FFP had any teeth, we’d be celebrating our 3rd PL under Klopp and Everton would be relegated…

Still, our lads are brilliant. Yet again they’ve beaten all other teams that play by the rules.

Also Ashley Barnes “Everyone even refs want to see us go down.”

Whoever refing the Leeds game “Here Leeds, have a pen.”

This liverpool team just got unlucky that we’ve had to faced a financially doped cheating team.

Best team by far in the PL era. Citeh and Pep Baldiola can go fuck off cause everyone knows how they’ve won.
