Premier League 2021/22 (Part 2)

Beautiful goal by Coutinho though.

Kind of sums up his career in a way

So how much is it working out at, that extra shitty point?

Like when they audition for the WWE every season against us?

I’m just so glad they’re finally down, them Stoke, Wigan and West Brom I never want to see come up.

If only we’d scored an extra goal against Utd, lads

I do wonder how much people actually watch other matches than our own.

Leeds are a shit club and a despicable lot of supporters, so I feel a bit of second hand embarrassment for all the Leeds ‘support’ for staying up.

How quickly some of you forget them laying the shirts in our dressing room, that they also wore in warmups, antagonizing our players about the super league.

My preference would have been Everton to be honest.

I wonder how some Burnley fans feel about sacking Dyche now? It came at a really odd time.

I’m disappointed. Partly because we didn’t win it, but equally, if not more, who won it. Football is pretty broken IMO and we seem to be one of a very few no. of clubs that are standing up to those wrecking it. The games’ authorities are broken, crooked, corrupt or take your pick of any mixture.

West Ham . David Moyes is a football genius

I can handle 1 more season of Everton in the league, they give us lots of laughs we have to be honest.

Sacking managers is really hit and miss
Leeds sacked theirs around the same time I believe? And it didn’t work out too badly for them.

A lot of Hammers’ fans will be happy with their season tbh.

Problem is the games against them now are awful. Burnley used to play hard but the disgusting version of football that Everton currently throws up combined with the injury risk makes a Simeone team look like they play tiki taka.

Plus nothing is guaranteed in football other than certain clubs looking to flout spending rules. Everton now fall into that bracket. What’s to say they dont find a few new “interesting” sponsors over the Summer?

The dream would be that the PL clamp down on them with a points deduction and Moshiri finds that he becomes a bit stuck thanks to Putins escapades in Ukraine meaning he cant spend a penny to help them out.

Maybe, ironically, by being able to compete with them and by being at least their equal, and doing so in accordance with the rules, we’re letting the governing bodies off?

If City were winning the league comfortably every year, there’d be more incentive to do something about it. Right now, because of how good Klopp is, they’ve got a competitive title race.

Fact: We are the only club other than City to win the Premier League in the last 5 years.

Now, the obvious flip side is that one League in that span is disappointing given they’re ~1 point ahead cumulatively in that time. But the chips fall where they do and statistically I think we’re in it next year, if anything Diaz gives us an extra dimension that we didn’t have in the early part of this season (our inconsistent patches).

It’s raw and it sucks but when you remember that no other team other than us or City have won in the last five years, it really does underline just how good we’ve been.

Manchester City have released a statement apologising to Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen, who was assaulted after the final whistle at today’s match when fans entered the pitch.

You shouldn’t play like a bunch of shithouses then, should you.

Yeah so what
you are smarming up to the PL/FA already
your pitch control security wasn’t good enough
trying to wriggle out of the situation already
it could be a points deduction scenario

Well, we see how PSG is able to buy the French league and the minnows who expose Qatar’s business plan are not heard by anyone.

The PL is bought every year in the past several seasons except for that one anomaly which led to the appropriate corrective actions as seen in the changing role of VAR. Now order has been restored, and until the Kingdom of SA speaks, Guardiola will enjoy his employer’s reign.

dock the fuckers 2 points!

This is getting ridiculous now. Why do people think they’ve got the right, firstly to invade the pitch and then behave like dickheads? Another one, who needs to be caught and jailed.
