dock the fuckers 2 points!
This is getting ridiculous now. Why do people think theyâve got the right, firstly to invade the pitch and then behave like dickheads? Another one, who needs to be caught and jailed.
Iâm bullish for next year â I think City were a bit off their mojo in the second half of the year and I really think we were the better team â we just left ourselves far too much to do after a bad spell from late October (ironically right after 5-0 at OT) through January. Also frustrating that we dropped points down the stretch, but itâd be even harder to take than it is if weâd coughed up a lead.
Not in terms of position, but I think Diazâs emergence is like that of Fabinho, we went from having to play Milner, Henderson, and Wijnaldum every game and provided an extra dimension. When we won the CL I genuinely felt we could go all the way the next year, and you have to remember, at the start of the 19-20 season we were probably 3/1 odds. I genuinely can see Diaz showing improvement and getting to Mane/Salahâs levels consistently in the next 1-2 years. He could be a world-beater even more than he already is. I can see them stagnating a bit and we are in a position to push on. Easier said than done of course but weâre right there.
Also, the following remains pertinent:
That did cross my mind to be honest. I suppose theyâd argue that we would walk it if City wasnât there. It might come across as sour grapes but I could honestly live with any other club (bar Everton and soon to be Newcastle) winning in the same manner as today other than City.
My mood isnât helped by the joke that was the CAS hearing in 2019 / 2020. That still grates it was so pathetically bent.
Yeah, but doing so with illegal amounts of caffeine (cycled on a biyearly schedule)
Next year I have decided to follow the Graeme Obree diet for athleteâs which comprised of marmalade sandwiches.
No coincidence that the Cheaters struggle in CL when the standard of European referees are higher than the weekly dross the PL have employed here⌠The Fernandinhoâs and Rodriâs have to reign in their tactical fouls no less
What a sour taste it brings when this shit stain of a club win anything, never mind the PL
FIFY
make them play it againâŚ!
Or just deduct 50 points from Manchester City.
Delighted Burnley are relegated, I know Dyche did a good job but shit football donât belong in the premier league.
The bitters hammered and although the arse win they fail to qualify for the champions league brilliant.
Leeds and Brentford are 2 teams I love watching so happy Leeds stayed up, I know their fans are cunts.
The deluded mancs losing again and spurs not doing a spursy on the last day so not a bad final day.
AnimalsâŚthe lot of emâŚbit different at Anfield wasnt itâŚtake the points of emâŚplay all home games next season with no fansâŚnoneâŚ
Should be shown everywhereâŚdefend that Peppy.
It was Liverpool supporters that were sent into the crowd to cause trouble just to give us a bad reputation, City are innocent, the owners have assured me.
Burnley would have been gone ages ago if Dyche hadnât been removed. The other guy gave them a chance and Iâd consider him next season if Itâs Burnley.
As for Leeds and support, The âall lives matterâ plane sticks in my mind. I doubt nethier of the supports are that great.
I donât know if people realize how good weâve been in the PL this calendar year.
We were 16-3-0 in 2022.
Thatâs absolutely amazing.
I feel absolutely gutted. But we will win the PL next season.
No we wonât. Those brown envelopes postmarked in Abu Dhabi carry a lot of cash⌠I mesn weight.
Pigs n flying spring to mindâŚ
The amount of bile posted on BBC Football fan comments against us is both incredulous and disgusting, particularly in todayâs post match comments.
Where does this hatred come from? Heysel happened nearly 40 years ago. The culprits were punished.
âAnyone but Liverpoolâ is a common theme. Exasperating.
