couldnt the ref’s assistant just shout to the ref from the sideline?
its not like the noise from the crowd would drown out his shout!

Shitty shit themselves.
See. Ya just knew those Bitter and Leeds holiday cards would show up.
At this rate, Man United are going to be challenging for the title and Everton are going to escape relegation once again, aren’t they? Well, as long as we qualify for CL… We did it once without centre backs, we’ll have to do it without midfield now.
Haha, city, haha, newcastle.
In June/July if you’d have said to me Arsenal have the chance to go 7 points clear at the top and Newcastle would be in the top 4 by the NY my lungs wouldv’e collapsed to laughter.
Hope not, but still plenty of time for Arsenal to Spurs this up.
So.
All we need is 2 midfielders in January, the defence to hit 19/20 form, Salah and Nunez to start scoring, and Gakpo to wade in with 20 goals?
PL is ours ![]()
12 pts off 1st,8 pts of 2nd with 22 games to go, bit of work to do but not impossible.
I think city still worried about us winning the league some of their players mentioned it yesterday and today they drop 2 points to relegation crap team. ![]()

2points behind Spursy Spurs - same games played
4points behind RedShite - same games played
6points behind Sandcastle - we have a game in hand
8points behind Cheaters - same games played
12points behind the Arse - they have played a game less
We going in the right direction anyway…
Did they really? LOL RENT FREE
Newcastle game was the one I was looking at the most, happy with that result.
I had both games on. Nice to see Man City and Newcastle drop points.
Newcastle are getting under my skin. Becoming a team of dirty bastards. Guimares late on did more than twice what Darwin got a red and ban for. Entitled, monied, snide bastards.
Well done Leeds. Battled really well.
I am fascinated by the power narratives and how they shape how people make sense of what they observe. Today EtH dropped Rashford for disciplinary reasons, then brought him for the second half to change a misfiring team and he responded by scoring the wining goal.
So far the press are responding to this as an example of perfect man management…showing Rashford who is the boss and Rashford responding to the discipline with a game winning sub performance. Yet if this was Rafa or a manager the press had decided they didnt like they would surely interpret the exact same situation as an overly fussy manager who didnt appreciate the importance of players and then getting bailed out by the player he’d needlessly dropped. It would be a win for Rashford showing the manager he cant win without him.
We do not have the points on the board (relative to other teams or in aggregate) this year. I know you are an optimist, and that is your right, but four wins in a row doesn’t change that for me, never mind that we are 12 points behind (FWIW, 538 has us at 5% to win the League). 5% is not 0%, but I can also say that I think the chance is small.
Well put.
It’s more difficult than people think to keep bias views out of the game.
But it’s not just the media, it’s more or less everyone who is involved in the game (except those who don’t play it or involved in management)
Some start for Arsenal.
Saka keeps on producing. 0-1
I found it a bit odd to make it so public, this kind of stuff is going backfire at some point.
If you are benching him it can’t be serious and do we need to know and he came on and rescued them anyhow.
Caicedo not playing.
It’s on.
