No I did watch the 25 minutes in the second in which it was wave and wave of them.
I also watched the first half which it was three weak headers with McGinn being the only really good chance that was just fucked up.
Know he’s an ex-manc, but Ashley Young is pretty amazing. 37 1/2 and a pretty tolerable fullback for an ex winger.

First game Martinez plays he will make several errors. I think Emery is wise to wait.
Villa seems a far more solid team now Emery. I wish Gerrard the best of luck for the future, but Emery is of a much higher tactical quality. Perhaps Gerrard can become as good in the future.
Dislike him incredibly much, but it’s unfair not to mention Ronaldo.
@Magnus he’s massively downgraded with his two latest moves and can no longer be considered to be playing at a “top level”

Obviously agree that he has downgraded, but he is physically extremely fit and has played in an offensive position into his late 30’s. My dislike of him doesn’t mean that I won’t point to him as a special player with great longevity.

I’d put Young above them all as a late-career player because he’s nailed down a starting spot under the last three managers, but Milner might also have if he were playing for a mid- or lower-level side.
