Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

No, Lloris is better despite many sub par games. Lloris has some absolutely fantastic games as well. No longer among the best keepers, but he is better than Pickford.

And if he were willing to work for less money would probably start for a lesser English or European club, but instead wants the max coin so will end his playing days in a sandstorm.

Lloris was never among the best keepers.

Spurs have come back from behind too often in recent times.

Yeah, he is revolting. Still had a fantastic career with incredibly special skills though. But I loath him as a person. Whiny, treatcherous, egotistical cunt.

Maybe Lloris has been hit in the head a few too many times. Sad.

About time that lad started justifying his 40m price tag.

I think he once was actually. I have seen very many games where he has carried his team. But lets agree to disagree.

Deliberately left him out as I’d fear someone would’ve pointed out his “top professionalism” after the last 6 months or so

Young done well there.

You don’t win a World Cup, reach another WC final and a CL final if you’re bad goalkeeper.

Lloris is easily in the Top15 in the world while Pickford won’t even make the Top40.

Decent keeper but prone to some howlers.

Keepers are always a hard 1 for me to judge.

I would have Alisson as the #1 (not by much but #1 nonetheless)

but then the crop of other world class keepers I couldn’t decide a top 5 or top 10…Neuer Courtois Ter Stegen Donnarumma Ederson Oblak Szszsceny etc. very hard for me to decide who would be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th best from that bunch.

Nerver rate Ederson. He is average GK with elite passing skill.

Shame we didn’t push for Douglas Luiz or Mac Allister in the summer window when both only had 1 year left on their deal, either would’ve bolstered our midfield fairly cheaply.

Luiz having another good game here, gone up a level since Gerrard was sacked.

Villa inviting pressure.

Did he sign contract extension?
