Just watched the 10 minute build up before the city game.
No wonder they call them plastic no atmosphere from the fans just a light show and music blasting out to create the illusion of an atmosphere.

I get that, but as much as I expect the game has changed a lot from my playing days, I doubt very much if there are many linesmen in use at grass roots level and in adult amateur leagues.
With that in mind, the fine line decisions were/are always a lottery anyway.

There is more noise at my local park at our Sat arvo old boys match. The boys on the bench open the bar before the end of the match and with the half dozen spectators create more atmosphere than this City shithole.
