Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

They aren’t really back until they have the Brown Ale logo on the front of the shirt

I’m sure plenty of neutrals wanted to see Newcastle back.

Just not like this.

What about a brown crude gusher. Close enough?

Saudi crude is generally light (more black) and sweet (more black) though.

Wouldn’t shock me to see an Aramco logo show up.

Looking at their remaining fixtures,at a push they could lose 2 from 7.Most of their games have been tight wins so hoping for a couple more loses but unlikely to happen.
Probably more chance of Utd losing 4 from their last 8

Edit:Still have Brighton to worry about as well as winning all ours.

:crossed_fingers:

Best case scenario - Brighton win convincingly precipitating a Utd collapse as they snipe at each other and causing Brighton to take their eye off the ball in the lead up to the cup final

I did like how they got rid of Conte because the environment was toxic only to realise it was toxic and Conte was commentating on it.

It doesn’t mean anything.

Imagine being a player there. Poch was sacked in Nov 2019. That is 4 years this group has gone being moderately successful but playing under dour toxic cunts. Changes are often overly reactionary, lurching too far in the opposite direction from the perceived faults of the last guy, but Spurs have just doubled down and doubled down again on antagonistic, dour football run by hard unforgiving task masters. Is it any wonder the players are looking like they’re fed up?

Newcastle at home are unbeaten against 18 teams in the league and 4 of their last 7 games are at home.

Surely they will get Top4 over the line now I guess. :expressionless:

Or Kane & daughter.

Their goals conceded column

Might be better off with Steptoe and Son.

The one whose life he swore on?

7 draws

I think Newcastle will finish third. Man Utd look the most vulnerable for dropping from the expected top four, but I fully expect them to limp over the line just fine. Never say never, but there’s not enough games to catch them.

On our end, I expect a good end to the season, possibly even all wins from here on, but we will fall short of top four, by a small margin, and have lots of opportunity to go back over the MANY games this season when we were poor. It will be torture to do that, so it will be best to look forward!
